A Closer Look
Burdur — Turkey
Burdur rugs are of Turkish origin and were woven in a number of villages around the towns of Burdur, in central Anatolia. The warps and wefts are made of cotton with woold knots. Many Burdur rugs feature a series of old Ottoman empire money designs woven into the rugs.
